Trends in construction for the next 30 years will be discussed at the plenary session of 100+ TechnoBuild
The key theme of the International Forum and Exhibition 100+ Technobuild in 2026 is "The House of the Future". ""An ordinary person will imagine a technological building where delivery robots drive, a "smart" concierge accepts requests, and an elevator recognizes you "in person" and chooses the floor itself.
At the same time, for a designer and engineer, the "house of the future" is, first of all, an environment that adapts to a person. These are, for example, "living" walls that regulate the microclimate, and facades that change light transmission depending on the time of day. But most importantly, the ability of such a house to "grow up" with the owner: to adapt to new human needs, to change the functionality of rooms without major repairs. Flexibility, rather than a set of gadgets, will be the main feature of the house of the future.
How to lay the vector for the appearance of such houses in the future today, to which point the industry should come in 10 and 30 years, we will talk in the business program and at the plenary session of 100+ TechnoBuild. The issues of parametric (flexible) regulation, modular architecture, new-level personnel training, and processing of building materials will be discussed by leading Russian experts, heads of industry research institutes, and government representatives. The Minister of Construction and Housing of Russia Irek Fayzullin, the Governor of the Sverdlovsk region Denis Pasler, heads of federal construction companies and architectural bureaus are invited to participate.
The discussion will focus on long-term global trends in design and construction and their applicability in Russia. Among such trends are:
- construction from recycled and "living" materials, waste-free production;
- energy independence of buildings;
- flexible spaces: transformer walls and adaptive structures;
- self-healing concrete;
- CLT panels and transparent wood;
- carbon fiber and graphene;
- transparent solar panels instead of windows and kinetic floor;
- chameleon facades and more.
It should be noted that the Ministry of Construction of Russia and its subordinate organizations will hold more than 40 sessions at 100+ TechnoBuild. Thus, sessions on "seamless" landscaping for Russian cities, construction technologies and design will be held with the participation of heads and experts of the Ministry of Construction. For the first time, a session on neuroarchitecture is planned for 100+, where experts will discuss the impact of a modern city on the human brain and ways to reduce stress when designing buildings.
The trend towards psychological well-being will be supported by other participants of the business program.: Thus, experts from the Comfortable Urban Environment forum will discuss therapeutic landscapes and an inclusive environment in a city that is convenient for everyone. A separate session will be devoted to art objects as psychological "anchors" for residents of new areas. Designers will offer interiors that increase the internal level of psychological comfort — some of these rooms will be turned into reality in the interior cluster 100+ TechnoBuild.
The international Forum and exhibition 100+ TechnoBuild is held with the support of the Ministry of Construction and Housing of Russia, the Government of the Sverdlovsk Region, as well as with the participation of the Sverdlovsk Region Investment Promotion Agency.
