The theme of the International Forum and exhibition 100+ TechnoBuild 2025 will be "Architecture of Victory"
The Russian Ministry of Construction has approved the theme and concept of the XII International Construction Forum and the 100+ TechnoBuild Exhibition. This year's event will be held in Yekaterinburg from September 30 to October 3.
"Last year, the number of participants in the 100+ Technobuild forum and exhibition reached about 35,000 people. The scale of the event is really impressive: 77 official delegations, including representatives of 9 countries, 600 media representatives, and more than 6,000 publications in the media. A very serious and intense business program. I would like to mention the innovative format of the outdoor exhibition of construction equipment. For the first time, the participants had the opportunity to take part in a test drive of the equipment directly on the forum site. I would like to thank you for the successful holding of the International Construction Championship combined with the forum. Today, we have a common goal to ensure that the XII International Forum and the 100+ Technobuild Exhibition are held at the same high level, giving each participant the opportunity to gain valuable experience and establish new business contacts," said Alexander Lomakin, First Deputy Minister of Construction and Housing of the Russian Federation.
As noted by Sergey Schwindt, Deputy Governor of the Sverdlovsk Region, the composition of the key co-organizers from the region has not changed since the first year of the forum. It includes the government of the Sverdlovsk Region, the administration of Yekaterinburg, and the Guild of Builders of the Urals. Permanent co-organizers are scientific institutes and specialized universities subordinate to the Ministry of Construction of Russia. Traditionally, the organizing committee is headed by the Minister of Construction and Housing of the Russian Federation Irek Fayzullin. Evgeny Kuyvashev, Governor of the Sverdlovsk Region, is the Deputy Chairman of the organizing Committee.
Speaking about the choice of a key topic, Vera Belous, head of the 100+ training group, noted: "This year, the international forum and the 100+ TechnoBuild exhibition address a topic that concerns each of us — the Architecture of Victory. This is a call for understanding the role of architecture and construction in overcoming the challenges of our time. In a world where climate change, urbanization, and geopolitical crises are becoming more acute, architecture is no longer just the art of creating beautiful buildings. It becomes an instrument of victory — over chaos, over inequality, over outdated approaches.
At the forum, we will discuss how architecture can be a response to global challenges. The sessions of the business program will be devoted to the sustainable development of cities, innovative construction technologies and the creation of spaces that unite people. We will talk about how to rebuild cities after crises, be it wars or natural disasters, and how to build a future in which everyone can live comfortably."
The main part of the business program will traditionally be devoted to the design, construction and operation of buildings and structures of various types, energy efficiency and safety of facilities, environmentally friendly construction, innovative materials and technologies, digital design, planning and development of urban transport infrastructure. Much attention will be paid to real estate marketing, interior design, and urban environment development. In total, about 250 sections are planned.
The exposition will be located both in the exhibition halls of Yekaterinburg-EXPO and on the street – for the second year, a large cluster of construction and special equipment will be presented at 100+. The field of test drives of construction equipment will also be developed, where, upon prior request, it will be possible to test unique samples of Russian and foreign production. It is planned to involve about 650 exhibitors from Russia and foreign countries.
According to tradition, the winners of the All-Russian Engineering and Architecture Award 100+ Awards will be awarded during the 100+ days. This year, the prize will be awarded in addition to the traditional ones and in a number of new nominations, for example, "The best object of monumental Architecture." Applications for participation opened on March 3 and will last until May 15.
The Ural Congress on Real Estate and the International Conference "Technical Regulation in Construction" will be held again in partnership with 100+. The Russian BIM forum, which has become a significant part of the event, will last for four days.
In 2024, 35,000 people from 36 countries and 77 regions of Russia visited 100+ TechnoBuild, and 610 exhibitors took part in the exhibition. More than 1,000 speakers performed in 222 sections of the forum.
Registration for 100+ 2025 will open in the summer, participation is free.
