"Steel Construction 2015"

The Association for the Development of Steel Construction (ARCC) will hold the II annual conference "Steel Construction-2015" on September 23 in Yekaterinburg as part of the international engineering forum for high-rise and unique construction 100+ Forum Russia.

There are three thematic sections in the program:

- review of practical experience in the implementation of steel-framed projects in civil engineering;

- solving typical problems and limitations in the design and manufacture of steel structures;

- development of national standards with the participation of the Association to improve the regulatory framework in the field of rolled products and design.

Among the speakers of the conference are the leading manufacturers of rolled metal products – EVRAZ, Mechel, OMK, the largest manufacturers of metal structures – Kurganstalmost, Ruukki Rus, Severstal Steel Solutions, Lindab, research institutes – V.A. Kucherenko Central Research Institute (JSC SIC Stroitelstvo), LLC N.P. Melnikov Central Research Institute, software developers – LiraSoft, Tekla.

"One of the objectives of the ARCC is to unite all participants in the steel construction market and help developers and investors make a choice in favor of metal structures through the Association's engineering center," says Dmitry Eremeev, CEO of ARCC. This year, the Association actively participated in the development of a number of pilot projects for developers in Moscow and other cities. The first results of the "pilot projects" will be presented in the final part of the conference, accessible to current members of the Association.
