100+ speakers: Guy Eames will talk about the application of the British experience of "green" construction in Russia
Chairman of the Board of the Council for Environmental Construction in Russia (RuGBC) Guy Eames has been working in the real estate market and in the field of environmental construction in Russian cities for more than 10 years.
In an interview with Russian media, Guy Eames noted that when promoting energy-efficient technologies and "green" construction in our country, we often had to face certain obstacles. Among them, he cited ignorance of the benefits and concepts of green construction, the lack of standards for sustainable construction, and the misconception that "green" construction is too expensive. The situation has changed dramatically in less than three years, and many developers have begun investing in "green" projects, as they see this as a long-term return on investment, increasing their reputation and customer satisfaction.
To understand the situation and learn about the trends of "green" construction, we invite you to the Great British greenbuilders thematic session – the British experience in the construction of environmentally sustainable high-rise buildings in Russia, which will be held on October 5, 2017 at 11.30 at the 100+ Forum Russia. The agenda of the meeting includes reports on cooperation between the UK and Russia in the field of "green" construction, as well as on the adaptation of the advanced international "green" BREEAM standard to the conditions of Russia.
