The Union of Moscow Architects has become a partner of the 100+ Forum Russia
A public organization uniting more than four thousand architects from Moscow and the Moscow Region has joined the co-organizers of the high-rise and unique construction forum. The partnership agreement was signed by Nikolai Shumakov, President of the Union of Moscow Architects.
The history of the Union of Moscow Architects began in 1867, when the first public organization of architects in Russia, the Moscow Architectural Society, was established. In 1932, the Moscow branch worked as part of the Union of Soviet Architects and in 1991 the SMA began its activities as an independent organization. The Union of Moscow Architects actively promotes the development of Russian architecture and urban planning, the protection of architectural, historical and cultural heritage, the development of international cooperation, and the integration of Russian architects into the global cultural community. One of the union's priorities is to develop a dialogue between society and the architectural professional workshop in order to jointly seek new ways to develop and improve the urban environment. The Central House of the Architect is the headquarters of the CMA and the main venue for various cultural and educational events (more detailsUnion of Moscow Architects).
The SMA representatives will hold thematic sessions, round tables and open lectures with the participation of famous Russian and foreign architects in the business program of the forum.
In 2017, the International High-Rise and Unique Construction Forum will be held from October 4-6 in Yekaterinburg.
