100+ AWARDS: the contenders for the victory in the nomination "Best innovative development – materials" have been named

We present to you the contenders for the victory in the nomination "Best innovative development – materials". These companies passed the initial selection and were shortlisted by the award's expert council.

STN.Expert company presents a composition for concrete reinforcement and concrete structures STRENGTHENING. Thanks to it, it is possible to reduce the estimated cost of construction work from 30 to 70% and reduce the production time by more than 50%. The material is suitable for road construction, reconstruction of bridges, ports, embankments. It also has properties that have no analogues in the world: the ability to increase the quality of concrete structures by surface impregnation, and the depth of its penetration reaches 200 mm without loss of properties.

The ICOPAL Group has nominated a rolled bitumen polymer SBS-a modified non-woven material made of high–strength polyester with coarse-grained sprinkling on the upper side - SYNTAN Solo Vent. It is designed for the installation of new ventilated and repair of old roofs, where the removal of the old coating of bitumen materials is not provided. Thanks to its use, high installation speed is achieved, monetary costs and loads on load–bearing structures are reduced, and the problem of residual moisture in the roof structure is solved with the help of special ventilation ducts.

Interface Company presents the innovative Embedded BeautyTM collection, created to reduce the carbon footprint in space. The use of unique yarn and tufting production technologies makes it possible to achieve a negative carbon footprint for carpet tiles when assessing their life cycle, taking into account the full production cycle. In other words, the effect of using the Interface material is a guaranteed reduction of CO2 emissions to zero, and when choosing three designs, Shishu StitchTM, Tokyo TextureTM and Zen StitchTM, even CO2 absorption from the atmosphere is ensured.

Raduga has announced the ASTRA LED floodlight, which is made of lightweight anodized aluminum and durable tempered glass. Tempered glass is resistant to critical loads and mechanical damage. The lamp life is more than 50,000 hours. The anti-blinding grille allows you to accentuate the luminous flux at the desired point and eliminates the possibility of blinding light entering the eyes.

The Hevel Group of Companies presented photovoltaic facade systems, the only solution in Russia for facades with the function of generating electricity. The use of the material makes it possible to significantly reduce operating costs and ensure independence from rising electricity tariffs, ensure uninterrupted power supply (when using energy storage devices) and organize a backup power supply system for the most important facilities and processes for which stability of energy supply is critical; makes it possible to reduce the carbon footprint and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
