THE FIRST DAY OF THE 100+ FORUM RUSSIA 2018

On December 5, 2018, the first day of the V International Forum and Exhibition of High-rise and Unique Construction ended at the site of the Yekaterinburg-EXPO IEC. 4 "one day" forums were held on the site: The Russian Forum of BIM Technologies, the Forum of the Ural Commonwealth in the field of construction, ARCH EURASIA and the International Forum of Construction Designers and Engineers INTERCONSTROY — 2018.

The moderators of the Russian BIM Technologies Forum were Andrey Belkevich, Deputy General Director of AMKAD LLC, and Maxim Nechiporenko, Deputy Director of Renga Software. The forum was attended by Andrey Yashanov, Chief Design Specialist, BIM Manager of the APEX Design Bureau, Vera Burtseva, General Director of Bureau of Technology Group, Alexey Kushnir, Head of Information Modeling at Semren&Mansson, Andrey Shakhramanyan, General Director of SODIS LAB, and Denis Zlokazov, Head of the ChelPipe Project Administration Department. Denis Zlokazov, Head of the ChelPipe Project Administration Department, began his presentation by defining the basic concepts: "What is a model for anyway? The model allows you to predict some properties of the system. This is always a kind of simplified system that ignores a number of properties, but at the same time allows you to predict the behavior. Accordingly, if we can predict the behavior of the system, then we can control it."

The Ural Commonwealth Construction Forum was attended by Andrey Faleychik, Deputy Minister of Construction and Infrastructure of the Chelyabinsk Region, Alexander Abaimov, Vice President of the Russian Union of Builders for Work in the Ural Federal District, Yuri Desyatkov, General Director of the Union of Construction Companies of the Urals and Siberia, and Sergey Lekomtsev, President of the Ural Builders Association. The meeting was moderated by Viktor Moskovskikh, First Deputy Minister of Construction and Infrastructure Development of the Sverdlovsk Region.
On the first day, the forum hosted a master class by Narine Tyutcheva, Director General of the Rozhdestvenka Architectural Bureau, entitled "Renovation of Cultural Heritage". The organizers call cultural self-identification through the study of the phenomenon of architectural historical and cultural heritage the main goal of the workshop, and formulate the task as the development of methods for identifying cultural, historical or other values of urban architecture.

In her speech, Narine Tyutcheva paid attention to the presentation of several of the most interesting projects of the architectural bureau: "One of the examples is a project in the city center, on Taganskaya Street (Moscow). The apartment building turned out to be a former temple, it turned out in the course of research. It turned out that this church already has parishioners today — it is an Old Believer church. The guys learned a lot about the history of the family that built this building. Today, this building stands in the courtyard of tall 16-storey buildings, seemingly unremarkable, but with a long history. The community raised funds for the reconstruction of the temple. Interestingly, they proposed to preserve all traces of the alterations, everything that would reflect the history of the building in the 20th century."

Also on the first day of the forum, a round table entitled "Achievements and prospects of steel application in modern construction" was held. The event was moderated by Andrey Soskov, Project Manager of the Engineering Center of the Association for the Development of Steel Construction. The round table was attended by Denis Konin, Head of the VSIS sector at the V.A.Kucherenko Central Research Institute, Nikolay Dubynin, Head of the Department of Scientific Research of Residential and Public Buildings at the Central Research Institute of Industrial Buildings, Tatyana Nazmeeva, head of ARSS projects, and Alexey Kolesnikov, Technical Director of LIRA Soft.

Daria Semashkina, a master's student at Peter the Great St. Petersburg State University: "A diagonal-shell frame is a building's load-bearing structure in which vertical elements around the perimeter are replaced by diagonal elements, and the beam system carries all the loads from the ceiling. Such a frame appeared as a natural continuation of the design of a building that works effectively with increased wind loads. In our country, there is practically no prospect of developing diagonal-shell frames, but at St. Peter the Great St. Petersburg State University in St. Petersburg is actively developing this system. To design such systems, active implementation of BIM (Building Information Modeling) technologies is necessary."

In addition, the NOPRIZ seminar was held at the forum site. The event was attended by Alexander Nazimov, NOPRIZ Coordinator for the Ural Federal District, Alexander Vronets, member of the NOPRIZ Council, and Vladimir Radaev, President of the SRO Council of the Ural Society of Prospectors Association. The experts discussed the specifics of pricing in engineering surveys and architectural and construction design, analyzed the current pricing system in engineering surveys, and also drew attention to pricing conflicts in the preparation of project documentation.

Alexander Nazimov, coordinator of the NOPRIZ (National Association of Prospectors and Designers) in the Ural Federal District: "The total number of self—regulatory organizations is 211, which is more than 50,000 legal entities and sole proprietors, for whom the cost of project work is an important issue. There are 9 SROs in the Ural Federal District. Geographically, 4 are Yekaterinburg, 2 are Tyumen, 2 are Chelyabinsk and 1 is Khanty-Mansiysk. Over the past five years, the cost of design work has decreased 2-2.5 times, which does not have a good effect on prospectors and designers. I would like to discuss these issues and find ways to move forward."

The first day of the forum ended with the award ceremony for the winners of the fourth annual regional construction competition of achievements and innovations in the real estate sector "Construction Triumph 2018".
