From the antique museum to the tea ceremony: the most unusual events and booths at 100+ TechnoBuild

The International Construction Forum and the 100+ TechnoBuild exhibition will start in Yekaterinburg on October 1. The Engineering Congress has long gone beyond the classic business event. Here you can not only have a serious time discussing the construction of bridges or unique buildings, but also drive an excavator, relax among giant dandelions and attend a real tea ceremony. Test drive of the equipment

The outdoor exhibition of construction equipment will occupy 10,000 square meters. m in front of Yekaterinburg-Expo. Companies will present equipment from Russia (Yekaterinburg, Moscow, Chita, Naberezhnye Chelny) and China. On October 1, it will be possible to take commercial vehicles (tractors, dump trucks) for a test drive, on October 2 - excavators, backhoe loaders, front loaders and utility equipment, on October 3 – excavators, backhoe loaders and front loaders, on October 4 – warehouse equipment and manipulators. Pre-registration is required.

Museum of Antiques

At one of the stands in the first pavilion, one can see the history of the development of security system technologies. Each device is not just a piece of iron or plastic, but an important milestone in history, telling about the threats that existed in different eras and how society reacted to them. For example, one of the exhibits is a canary. These birds are very sensitive to the smallest gas impurities in the air, including methane and carbon monoxide, and they die even from a small amount of it in the air. That's why cages with canaries used to be brought into the mines. If the bird died or started behaving unnaturally, the miners immediately left the dangerous place. Other exhibits are rare examples of Soviet video surveillance and access control systems, which were once considered an achievement of science and technology. Today, they can make you smile because of their bulkiness and poor image quality.

Tea ceremony

One of the stands in the first pavilion will be waiting for its guests for a tea ceremony according to the method of the poet and tea ideologist Lu Yu – this is how one of the developers decided to mark his entry into the Khabarovsk Territory market. According to the method, salt is added to the boiling water to reveal the taste and only then the tea itself is brewed. The recipe is described in the famous "Tea Canon".

Dandelions and clouds

Corners in the design cluster in the second pavilion are always something creative. This time, visitors will be able to relax in a real oasis with gabion benches, balls made of concrete and filled with earth and plants. The highlight will be the huge dandelions – symbols of lightness, wind and flight. Clouds will hover in one of the corners. In total, 100+ guests will be able to visit eight corners.

This year, 100+ Technobuild will be held in Yekaterinburg-Expo from October 1 to October 4 as part of the International Construction Week. The total area of the exhibition will be 40 thousand square meters, and the business program will consist of 220 sections. Registration is already open.
