The Organizing Committee of the 100+ Forum Russia reported on the preparations for the fifth high-rise and unique construction Forum

The next meeting of the Organizing Committee of the 100+ Forum Russia took place in Yekaterinburg. It was conducted by Arkady Chernetsky, First Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on Federal Structure, Regional Policy, Local Government and Northern Affairs, Deputy Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the 100+ Forum Russia. He highly appreciated the dynamics of the forum's development in the previous four years, noting that the number of participants had increased sixfold, the number of speakers had tripled, and the number of business events had doubled.

Alexander Jacob, Head of the Yekaterinburg City Administration, took part in the work of the Organizing Committee. He informed about the preparations of the city for the reception of participants and guests of the forum. Four hotels have become partners of 100+ ForumRussia this year - Hilton, Angelo, Novotel, Park Inn Yekaterinburg. They will provide participants with preferential terms of payment for accommodation.

Mikhail Volkov, Minister of Construction and Infrastructure Development of the Sverdlovsk Region, spoke about the preparation of the exhibition part: "One of the main objectives of the exhibition is to visually complement the forum part and provide a practical illustration of what is being discussed in the forum sections. We will purposefully invite companies using innovative technologies, materials and construction methods." This year, two new areas have been added: digital and virtual technologies in construction and architectural lighting. The number of exhibitors is planned to increase by 50%. The exhibition will feature the stand of the Sverdlovsk region, the stand of 100+ ForumRussia and the exposition of the XIV International Architecture and Design Competition "EURASIAN PRIZE 2018" - this will be an exhibition of works by participants of the "Hand of the Master" competition.

The main business program of the 100+ Forum Russia includes 40 business and scientific events. More than half of them (22 sections) are intended for industry specialists and are devoted to scientific and technical research and development in construction. There are also sections on regulatory and technical regulation, architecture and urban planning, urban planning and landscaping.

For the first time, the business program of this year will include the topics of renovation of urban areas in conditions of dense development, preservation of cultural heritage in redevelopment areas, construction of transport facilities of regional and federal significance (the Yekaterinburg – Chelyabinsk high–speed tram, Yekaterinburg - Verkhnyaya Pyshma high-speed tram). A significant part of the time will be devoted to the application of automated technical systems and information modeling technologies in construction, the development of digital prototyping based on information modeling of buildings and structures, computer modeling technologies, augmented and virtual reality in design and construction.
