OPB Research Institute will hold thematic seminars at 100+ Forum Russia

The Scientific Research Institute for Fire Safety (SRI OPB) will hold two scientific sections at the forum in Yekaterinburg.

At the seminar "Legislation, state policy and technical regulation in the field of fire safety", specialists from NOPRIZ, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation, Glavgosexpertiza of Russia and others will present reports on improving fire safety standards in construction, state policy and technical regulation in the field of fire safety. Experts will give comments on the new documents of the joint venture "High-rise buildings and complexes. Fire safety requirements", Joint venture "High-rise buildings and complexes. Design rules" and JV "High-rise buildings and complexes. Operating rules".

The seminar participants will discuss the practice of conducting an expert examination of project documentation in the field of fire safety of high-rise and unique construction facilities, the application of the provisions of technical regulations (FZ 123 and FZ 384) in design, construction and state construction supervision, and other aspects. The seminar was moderated by Konstantin Belousov, Director of the Scientific Research Institute for Fire Safety, Chairman of the Subcommittee on Fire and Integrated Safety of the NOPRIZ.

The second seminar is about fire protection of high—rise buildings, multifunctional complexes and unique objects. The reports will contain practical aspects on the following issues:

• fire protection design of unique, complex and especially important facilities using BIM technologies,
• development and approval of STU for fire protection of technically complex and unique facilities in the context of changes in the regulatory framework,
• features of fire protection of facilities with a mass presence of people, taking into account low-mobility groups of the population,
• fire extinguishing installations with finely sprayed water to protect high-rise buildings.

Innovative solutions in the field of fire protection will also be presented.
