Skyscrapers of Krasnoyarsk designed by a German architect
The complex, with a total area of about 300,000 square meters, will include business centers, a five-star hotel, a four-level underground parking, public buildings and a park area. The buildings of the complex will be 75, 100 and 135 meters high. The main dominant building will be a 52-storey building with a height of 200 meters. The MFDC project has already been included in the new general plan of Krasnoyarsk.
Architectural engineer Werner Sobek, professor, founder and owner of the Werner Sobek Group, did not become the author of the project by chance. The Werner Sobek Group has designed a number of iconic global facilities, such as Hong Kong Airport, skyscrapers in Munich, as well as some large structures in Russia. This includes the Iset Tower, a skyscraper that is part of the Yekaterinburg City business district. The architect announced the updated concept of the Yekaterinburg City building at the 100+ Forum Russia last year.
The developer of the future business center of Krasnoyarsk is the Montazh-Stroy company. Development informs that the project implementation concept provides for the phased commissioning of the complex's facilities, with a total construction period of approximately 10 years.
Alexander Nepomniyuchy, Head of the Strategic Development Department, explains: "Currently, the development of the concept sketch has been completed, this stage took about six months. Overall, we plan to complete the design of the complex in 1.5-2 years. The General Designer is currently selected based on a comparison of the conditions of leading companies with the necessary experience. It is possible that several partner companies, including those specializing in STU, will implement the project. We plan to start construction in the second quarter of 2017."
The developer expects to implement a large-scale project through a combination of various sources of financing. At the first stage, the company intends to invest a significant amount of its own funds. Negotiations are also underway with major banks and private investors on a strategic partnership.
The initiators of the project believe that its implementation will become a definite impetus for the development of the district, setting a new level of quality of the urban environment, creating opportunities for infrastructure development.
In the meantime, the 120-meter business center "First Tower", commissioned in 2009, remains the tallest building in the city.
