A delegation of officials and builders from the Chechen Republic has officially confirmed its visit to the 100+ Forum Russia high-rise construction forum, which will be held in Yekaterinburg on September 24-26, 2014. They will take an active part in the business program of the event.

The initiative to participate in the "100+ Forum Russia" was taken by the Chechens themselves, who in recent years have been paying great attention to the construction of high-rise buildings in the capital of Chechnya, Grozny. Today in this city, as well as in Yekaterinburg, there are also 5 buildings above 100 meters. The tallest among them is the Phoenix Business Center (145 m, 45 floors), which was commissioned back in 2011.

Currently, the Chechens are preparing to implement an ambitious project – the 80-storey Akhmat tower with a height of 400 meters. If implemented, it will be the tallest building in Russia and Europe. The total area of the facility will be 164 thousand square meters.m. The facility will be located next to the multifunctional complex "Grozny City". Currently, geological exploration work has been carried out at the construction site. It is planned that the skyscraper will be used as a multifunctional center. Externally, its silhouette will resemble ancient Chechen watchtowers.

Alexander Zusik is the chief architect of the project, and Vladimir Travush is the chief designer. He is an academician of the Russian Academy of Architecture and Building Sciences, and is internationally renowned. Vladimir Travush is one of the authors of the construction of the famous Ostankino TV Tower, he carried out technical calculations of all towers of Moscow City, as well as towers of Gazprom and Lakhta Center in St. Petersburg.
