The Department of Architecture, Urban Planning and Land Relations Regulation of the Yekaterinburg City Administration, with the assistance of the Sverdlovsk Branch of the Union of Architects of Russia, is holding an open competition to develop a concept for the development of the embankment of the Verkhny Isetsky Pond - Iseti River within the boundaries of the Maly Konny Peninsula — Papanina St., including the territories of the historical part of the Verkhny Isetsky Metallurgical Plant and Subbotnikov Square.
Following the review of applications and portfolios at the meeting of the jury of the first stage competition, it was decided to approve eight finalists of the first stage for further participation in the competition.:

- LLC Architectural Bureau Gordeev-Demidov.
By 12:00 on September 25, 2017, the participants will send the developed concepts, on September 29, 2017, the competition jury will form the final rating of the submitted works and determine the names of the prize-winners and the winner of the competition.
The jury members evaluate each competitive project — concept of the territory development according to the following criteria:
- compliance with the objectives and conditions of the competition;
- compliance with the requirements of the terms of reference;
- the originality and uniqueness of the competition project;
- improving the comfort level of the urban environment;
- the possibility of implementing a competitive project;
- compliance of the decisions of the competitive project with the climatic conditions of the Ural region;
- the reflection of the identity, cultural and historical features of Yekaterinburg in the architectural and spatial solutions presented in the framework of competitive projects.
Summing up the results of the competition and presentation of the concepts of the winner and prize-winners of the competition will take place within the framework of the Architectural and Urban Planning Council at 100+ Forum Russia on October 6 at 11.30.
