Monolith vs Reinforced concrete

The Association for the Development of Steel Construction invites participants of the 100+ Forum Russia to an engineering discussion.

Using the example of the Gala Tower skyscraper, which is planned to be built in Batumi, the advantages and disadvantages of construction technologies will be evaluated: traditional monolith and reinforced concrete.

Denis Konin, Head of the sector of the Central Research Institute named after V.A.Kucherenko (JSC SIC Stroitelstvo), Alexey Yakovlev, Head of the ARSS Engineering Center, Andrey Soskov, Project Manager of the ARSS Engineering Center, will defend their point of view in defense of reinforced concrete.

On the side of the opponents are Evgeny Aleksandrovich Redikultsev, "Effective Design", Darko Popovich, Urban Planning Engineer (DNEC), Aleksandar Alexich, architectural Engineer (ADCBIRO).

Which side has the most advantages? We will determine based on the results of the engineering duel.

The discussion was moderated by the project developer Artur Alexandrov (E Group of Companies).
