Can skyscrapers create a comfortable urban environment?
The 100+ Forum Russia will host a discussion about high-rise residential dominants in cities using the example of the Neskuchny Home & Spa complex.
In the Donskoy district of the capital, construction of the unique Neskuchny HOME & SPA high-rise residential complex began earlier this year. Five residential towers ranging in height from 140 to 262 meters will be located next to the famous Moscow Neskuchny Garden.
The leading Russian bureau Atrium was involved in the creation of the architectural concept of high-rise housing. Anton Nadtochiy, the founder and head of the bureau, suggests using the example of the Neskuchny Home & Spa complex project to discuss the following topics at the forum in October:
- a new architectural dominant as a cultural and tourist magnet in the city,
- The concept of an intensive city is the development of ideas of a compact city for a modern metropolis,
- design features of a residential complex with a high-density and saturated environment,
- designing internal transit spaces as public spaces,
- residential complex in a negative environment: how to turn flaws into virtues,
- the formation of communities of residents at altitude.
Representatives of M.K.3, which carried out the design documentation of the high-rise residential complex, will also talk about optimizing design solutions, including vertical shafts to create an ideal apartment layout, vertical transport to reduce the waiting time for an elevator in a high-rise apartment building. M.K.3 specialists are ready to share their experience in developing STU on fire safety of high-rise towers and excavation construction methods in limited conditions.
