The Ministry of Construction of Russia expands the format of participation in the work of the 100+ Forum Russia

An expanded meeting of the organizing committee of the 100+ Forum Russia was held in Yekaterinburg. The participants approved the final version of the business program and listened to the reports of the organizers on the preparations for the forum. This year, a huge number of Russian and foreign masters of architecture and construction have expressed their desire to participate in the business program, which indicates a strong interest in the forum in a professional environment.

The meeting was attended by Arkady Chernetsky, First Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on Federal Structure, Regional Policy, Local Self-Government and Northern Affairs, Deputy Chairman of the Organizing Committee of 100+ Forum Russia; Svetlana Kuzmenko, Assistant Minister of Construction and Housing and Communal Services of the Russian Federation, Executive Secretary of the Public Council under the Ministry of Construction of Russia; Alexander Jacob, Head of the Yekaterinburg City Administration; Mikhail Volkov, Minister of Construction and Infrastructure Development of the Sverdlovsk Region.

Arkady Chernetsky called the creation of a regulatory and technical base for high-rise construction one of the important results of the work of previous forums. "At the first forum in 2014, the construction community sharply raised the issue of the lack of regulatory documents that would allow effective construction of modern high-rise buildings," he added. – Now the work has noticeably moved forward. Two sets of rules have already been approved and four more documents are under development."

The business program of the 100+ Forum Russia currently includes a plenary session and an off-site meeting of the Russian Ministry of Construction. The events will focus on topical issues of the development of high-rise and unique construction in Russia, as well as the implementation of priority projects to create a comfortable urban environment.

Vera Belous, Executive Secretary of the Organizing Committee of 100+ ForumRussia, delivered a report on preparations for the IV International Forum of High-rise and Unique Construction 100+ Forum Russia. She noted that the forum's co-organizers had planned an extensive program of events. These are organizations subordinate to the Ministry of Construction of the Russian Federation, FSBI TsNIIP of the Ministry of Construction of the Russian Federation, FAA Glavgosexpertiza of Russia, FAA FCN, RAASN, NIISF RAASN, as well as leading research organizations TSNIIEP Zhilishcha, SIC Stroitelstvo and professional unions Association National Association of Builders, Union of Architects of Russia, Union of Moscow architects.

Dmitry Mikheev, head of the FAA "FTS", said that the agency would hold a round table at the forum on practical issues of harmonization and compliance of Russian and foreign regulatory and technical documents and the experience of Russia's cooperation with international organizations for standardization.

Svetlana Kuzmenko said that the forum will include events dedicated to the program of popularization of professions in the field of architecture, construction and housing, developed by the initiative group of the Public Council with the participation of the Department within the framework of the "Decade of Childhood" "I am the builder of the future." So, at the 100+ Forum Russia, the results of the competition for the development of program symbols and the opening of a children's architectural and construction site will be summed up. She also said that Sergey Stepashin, Chairman of the Public Council under the Ministry of Construction of Russia, plans to attend the forum.
