The Ministry of Construction of Russia will hold a section in Yekaterinburg with the participation of representatives of China and the UAE

As part of the World Cities Day in Yekaterinburg on October 30, the Ministry of Construction and Housing and Communal Services of the Russian Federation will hold a section on providing affordable high-quality housing for future generations. Nikita Stasishin, Deputy Head of the Russian Ministry of Construction, will take part in the discussion. The key topics of discussion will be mechanisms for ensuring housing affordability, the social agenda, and rational development.

Among the issues that the participants plan to discuss are the formation of a district development plan, mechanisms for ensuring housing affordability, for example, regional programs, and the role of the leadership of the region and the country in balancing the interests of developers and buyers. 

Colleagues from the People's Republic of China and the United Arab Emirates will also take part in the discussion. International experience in housing construction and cooperation with foreign partners on urban development issues will be discussed.

"An integrated approach is very important in urban development. People no longer just want to buy housing, they are buying the quality of life. To ensure it, we need a well-developed infrastructure, a comfortable urban environment, transport accessibility, high-quality layouts, and interesting architectural solutions. We plan to discuss all this during the section, as well as share our experience in urban planning with foreign colleagues," said Nikita Stasishin, Deputy Minister of Construction, Housing and Communal Services of the Russian Federation.

Among the participants in the discussion will be Jiang Wanrong, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Construction of the People's Republic of China, Abdullah Ahmed Al-Saleh, Deputy Minister of Foreign Trade and Industry of the United Arab Emirates, Alexander Plutnik, General Director of DOM.RF JSC, Alexander Moore, Governor of the Tyumen Region, Maxim Reshetnikov, Governor of the Perm Territory, Sergey Cheryomin, Head of the Department of Foreign Economic and International Relations of Moscow,-Alexey Almazov, President of PIK Group, the Section will be held in Conference Hall 3.10 of the Yekaterinburg-EXPO International Exhibition Center from 16.30 to 18.00.
