The International Construction Forum and the 100+ TechnoBuild exhibition in Yekaterinburg were attended by almost 35 thousand people.

The XI International Construction Forum and the 100+ TechnoBuild Exhibition have completed their work in Yekaterinburg. It was visited by 34,786 people. The event was held for the first time as part of the International Construction Week.

"We can confidently say that the International Construction Week was a success. In terms of 100+, compared to last year, we have grown by almost 10 thousand visitors. This is a big step forward. This year, for the first time, we conducted a test drive of construction equipment, and we strengthened our efforts in the usual areas and the international component," said Vera Belous, head of the 100+ TechnoBuild working group.

The exhibition was located on an area of 40 thousand square meters in the first and second pavilions of the Yekaterinburg-EXPO International exhibition Center, 610 companies from 76 cities of Russia, as well as from Iran, the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, China and Italy participated in it. About 42% of the exhibitors represented the production and distribution of materials, technologies and equipment, 15.7% – interior design, 15.3% – development and architecture. One day, the exhibition was visited by Irek Fayzullin, Minister of Construction and Housing and Communal Services of Russia, and Artyom Zhoga, the new presidential envoy to the Ural Federal District.

In the first pavilion, developers demonstrated mockups and renderings of their projects, including a large-scale renovation project for Sredneuralsk. Manufacturers presented import-substituting products, for example, an unparalleled expanded clay block, flame-retardant materials and coatings for engineering communications, smart glasses, translucent structures for high-rise buildings and suburban housing. Several elevator companies from Russia and China also demonstrated their products at once.

In the second pavilion, the companies showed solutions for digitalization, design and construction, including domestic construction software, interactive sales tools, cloud platforms for construction management, as well as facilities for landscaping and interior design.

There are 60 pieces of construction equipment in front of the entrance to the congress center. A test drive was held at a separate venue. For example, Grigory Surganov, Minister of Construction and Infrastructure Development of the Sverdlovsk Region, tried to drive a 21-ton tracked excavator.

The 100+ TechnoBuild business program included 222 sections with 1,028 speakers. The central event was a plenary session on "Building the future". Developers and officials discussed the development of agglomerations and the creation of a comfortable urban environment, shared their vision of the development of the construction sector. Alexander Lomakin, First Deputy Minister of Construction and Housing of the Russian Federation, stressed that the ministry will take into account the opinion of the professional community when forming the new national project "Infrastructure for Life".
