The International Construction Forum and the 100+ TechnoBuild exhibition were attended by almost 19 thousand people

The international forum and exhibition 100+ TechnoBuild ended in Yekaterinburg on Friday, October 21. It was attended by a record 18.7 thousand participants from Russia and the CIS countries (in 2021 – about 13 thousand people). For the first time, the event took place over four days.

Records have been set for other indicators as well. So, the forum had 207 sections, where 600 speakers spoke. 320 exhibitors, including builders, manufacturers of building materials and technologies, as well as other industry participants, took part in the exhibition, taking into account parallel events. Vera Belous, head of the TechnoBuild 100+ working group, noted that the development of the 100+ was largely due to an increase in the number of domestic manufacturers working in the construction industry. The quality of the exposition has also increased, both in terms of the size of the stands, and in terms of their content and design.

"Until recently, it was unclear whether the forum and exhibition would eventually take place or not. The situation in the country is unclear – everyone has a very low planning horizon right now. Nevertheless, the first version of the business program has changed a lot since February. We did not go into ambitious projects of the future, but focused on what to do today to ensure that the industry develops. It should be noted that this year's participants paid special attention to establishing contacts: they were looking for suppliers, partners, logistics chain options, and I know that there are more agreements reached," Vera Belous said.

The key event of the 100+ TechnoBuild was the plenary session. Nikita Stasishin, Deputy Minister of Construction and Housing of the Russian Federation, took part in it. He stated that, in addition to increasing the housing commissioning rate to 120 million square meters. By 2027, it is necessary to pay attention to unfinished objects. It is also necessary to increase by 1.5 times the volume of commissioning of facilities that are being built with the participation of budget financing – with the help of infrastructure loans, within the framework of national projects, federal investment programs and others. In addition, as Stasishin stressed, it is necessary to maintain the pace and parameters of project financing of housing construction, then it will be possible to safely complete everything and start new projects.

Other industry participants held their own events within the framework of 100+. For the first time, the International Conference "Development of the Institute of Construction Expertise" was held on the sidelines of 100+, attended by representatives of construction complexes from Russia, the Republics of Belarus, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Armenia and the Kyrgyz Republic. Finishers from eight regions of Russia gathered in one of the pavilions and took part in a professional skills competition. Also this year, the interior design department was operating for the first time. It is expected that it will continue to develop both within the framework of the forum and the exhibition.

Vera Belous emphasized that it is precisely in synergy with industry events that the further growth of 100+ TechnoBuild is possible. In 2023, the organizers plan to increase the number of sessions. It is possible that the forum and exhibition will last more than four days in the future.
