The international construction forum and the 100+ TechnoBuild exhibition opened in Yekaterinburg
The official opening of the VIII International Construction Forum and the 100+ TechnoBuild Exhibition took place in Yekaterinburg.
"We are opening the construction forum and the construction exhibition for the eighth time. Compared to what happened in previous periods, we can say today that a very serious step has been taken both in terms of scaling up the exhibition and in terms of attracting new interesting sectors of the construction market and construction science to our exhibition and our forum," said Arkady Chernetsky, Senator of the Russian Federation.
He noted that the current forum will feature about 120 round tables and seminars and more than 500 speakers, of which several dozen are leading foreign experts. The total exhibition area is 30,000 square meters.
"The difficult times associated with the pandemic have, in a sense, played a positive role for us. (...) Today, the most top engineers, architects, heads of design and architectural bureaus, and the world's leading urbanists are pleased to participate in our forum. We have the opportunity for everyone interested in relevant sciences to organize a meeting with truly world leaders," Chernetsky emphasized.
Anton Glushkov, President of the National Association of Builders (NOSTROI), in turn, expressed special satisfaction and pride that the private initiative of Ural builders to hold the exhibition and then the forum has turned the event into an international event over the years.
"Not only Russian builders and representatives of construction science and architecture, but also world leaders are coming to Yekaterinburg and are ready to share their information and take the best that we have accumulated in the Russian Federation, in particular, in the Urals," he stressed.
Anton Glushkov noted that the topics of the 100+ forum change and expand every year.
"Today, in addition to high-rise construction, we are discussing the issues of technical regulation and pricing in construction. Of course, the main trend or mainstream, if you look at almost all the stands, is digitalization in construction, the transition to BIM design," he said.
"The Governor of the Sverdlovsk Region has set the task of turning our forum into a construction INNOPROM. This task is quite feasible, and it is in demand at the federal level precisely from the point of view of promoting ideas and ideas for the development of the construction industry in the Russian Federation, the difficult tasks that we face related to increasing the pace of housing construction," Mikhail Volkov, Minister of Construction and Infrastructure Development of the Sverdlovsk Region, said at the opening.
Vyacheslav Trapeznikov, President of the Ural Builders Guild of ASRO, added that the 100+ came from a request from the builders and developers of Yekaterinburg themselves, to share experiences, in order to learn how to move on and make Yekaterinburg more competitive, more attractive, more economically and socially sustainable.
"I am sure that once again the most important value of the forum will prove itself and justify itself. This is a really interested, correct, professional communication," Trapeznikov said.
At the end of the opening ceremony of the 100+ TechnoBuild Forum, its participants cut the ribbon.
After the opening ceremony, the participants were presented with smart video surveillance systems, new technologies from the Shcherbinsky Elevator Plant and the Karacharovsky Mechanical Plant, stands from Inpad, Mosinzhproekt, Guardian, Inicialsistems, and NOSTROI. There are a total of 225 exhibitors at the exhibition. You can attend the event from October 5 to 7 at the Yekaterinburg-Expo IEC.
