Events to attend at the 100+ Forum Russia
On Wednesday, October 5, the III International Forum of High-rise and Unique Construction 100+ Forum Russia will begin its work in Yekaterinburg. Everyone will be able to attend the forum, listen to reports, lectures and master classes. To do this, you need to register.
Over the course of three days, the Russian and foreign experience in the development of underground spaces, the prospects for high-rise and unique construction in different countries, the construction of bridges and large-span structures, and issues of legal regulation in the construction sector will be explored. On the first day of the forum, a plenary session will be held with the participation of representatives of the Ministry of Construction of the Russian Federation.
A session dedicated to the development of modern urbanized territories and cities will be held with the participation of Andrey Bokov, President of the Union of Architects of Russia, Svyatoslav Murunov, head of the Center for Applied Urban Studies and other specialists. The meeting of the Ministry of Construction and Housing and Communal Services of the Russian Federation will be opened by Khamit Mavliyarov, Deputy Minister of Construction and Housing and Communal Services of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Mikheev, Director of FAA "FTS", Igor Manylov, Head of FAA "Glavgosexpertiza of Russia".
It is on the 100+ Forum Russia. the presentation of the first in Russia of the building, which is being built according to the design of the architectural firm Foster + Partners. This is the headquarters of the Russian Copper Company and it is being built in the center of Yekaterinburg. Jeremy Kim, the project developer, will share the specifics of the construction of the facility. Christos Passas, Executive Director of Zaha Hadid Architects, will also be a guest of the forum. He will conduct a master class and an open lecture.
The session "Innovative architectural solutions in the field of unique construction" will be held with the participation of foreign and Russian specialists. Presentations will be made by Carlos Gomez, founder of CRG Architecture Consultants, Dmitry Gureev, Chief Architect of the architectural bureau SPEECH, Nikolai Klementyev, Director of Design at Spectrum Group, Jeremy Kim, partner at Foster + Partners, Anton Nadtochiy, CEO of the Atrium Architectural Workshop.
At the round table "Arenas and stadiums. Unique constructions and constructions of venues for entertainment and sporting events" the topic of construction and reconstruction of stadiums for the 2018 World Cup, which is relevant for Russia, will be discussed. One of the speakers will be Sergey Schwindt, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Sverdlovsk Region. It should be noted that the 2018 World Cup games will be held, among other things, at the Central Stadium in Yekaterinburg.
The forum will also include the summing up and awarding of the winners of the architectural competition for the construction of Yekaterinburg City. This competition caused a wide response in the media and among the urban community. The issues of preserving the architectural appearance of the Ural capital will be discussed at the round table "Architectural heritage of Uralmash: objects of the future or unnecessary ruins of the past?".
The forum program includes 70 events, reports and lectures by 350 experts, 20 delegations from different countries and about 3,500 participants.
