Robots will build cities of the future: new construction technologies will be presented at the 100+ Forum Russia
The experts of the forum will tell you how to print a house on a 3D printer and build a modern building from ultralight, durable and environmentally friendly materials using robots.
Among the speakers are developers of robotic technologies and authors of world–class projects in South Korea, the United Arab Emirates, China, Turkey and Russia. Technologies for printing houses on a 3D printer will be presented by Winsun CEO Ma Yi He. Among the company's cases is the construction of the world's first office building in Dubai and residential buildings in China using 3D printing technology. The printer uses high-quality cement and fiberglass obtained from the processing of construction and industrial waste as the "ink", while reducing the total cost and project implementation time by up to 50% compared to traditional technologies.
Melike Altınışık, founder and head of the Turkish architectural bureau Melike Altınışık Architects, will deliver an open lecture on the Dialogue between Architecture and Technology. One of her key projects is the Museum of Robotics in Seoul. The special feature of the facility is that 3D printers, drones and robots will be involved in the construction, which will assemble and weld the metal panels of the structure. The museum is scheduled to open in 2022: "The new Museum of Science and Robotics plays a crucial role in promoting science, technology and innovation. With its help, people will not just be able to look at robots – robots will create their own museum themselves," Melike Altynyshik commented.
Sergey Arnautov, CEO of ARLIFT, will talk about what kind of equipment will appear on Russian construction sites in the near future: "Robotics is already in our lives. In the future, more and more typical tasks will be automated, and robots will gradually replace human labor. However, the value of the team's unique solutions and expertise will remain. And, in this sense, it is very important to make a competent and efficient division of resources in time: unique and complex projects for professionals using modern technologies, typical actions for robots." He will share his experience of using new generation technologies in the construction of the Lakhta Center tower, the Moscow City Business Center and the World Cup facilities.
Automated technologies in construction will be presented by Sergey Ivanov, Head of the Sales Department at Palfinger Crane Rus.
Robotic construction methods embedded in projects already at the stage of BIM modeling are becoming more and more in demand in the industry: "Operator-less excavators and robot masons are starting to appear on construction sites, machines that design and implement complex tasks. New technologies will radically change the approach to design. They can be used to create buildings of any configuration. Automation of processes will help minimize construction waste and improve the environmental situation – it will become quieter and cleaner on construction sites. The future of the industry belongs to robots, which will help to shorten the time and reduce the cost of construction. We will talk about these trends at the forum," said the head of the working group of the Organizing Committee of the 100+ Forum Russia. Vera Belous.
