The general designer of the second stage of the Mariinsky Theater will come to the 100+ Forum Russia

Krzysztof Pomorski, Technical Director of the Design Bureau of High-rise and Underground Structures (KB VIPs), will make a presentation at the forum. The topic is the experience of using building information modeling (BIM) technology in the design of unique civil engineering facilities.

Using BIM technology, the VIPS Design Bureau designed the new stage of the Mariinsky Theatre: from surveys and design documentation to the development of architectural and construction solutions for facades, roofs, and architectural interiors.

The Design Bureau's portfolio already includes more than 70 completed projects and over 100 are under development. These are cultural and sports facilities, engineering, transport and high-rise buildings, residential buildings and objects of integrated development of territories. Among them is one of the tallest buildings in Azerbaijan, a 120-meter tower — the future headquarters of Azerbaijan's largest air carrier, as well as a project for a multifunctional high-rise center in Minsk (Belarus). A number of developments were carried out for the IFC Lakhta Center (462 m, St. Petersburg), the concept of the Ural tower (65 floors) was created in the Yekaterinburg City business center under construction.
