EXPO-2025: take part in the Sverdlovsk Region Governor's Concept Competition

The Governor of the Sverdlovsk Region, Evgeny Kuyvashev, announced an open international competition to develop a concept for the development of the territory of the World Universal Exhibition EXPO–2025, reserved on the shore of the Verkh-Isetsky Pond in Yekaterinburg for the Expo Park. Architects, designers and ordinary citizens are invited to participate in the competition.

There are two main nominations in the competition: "Socio-philosophical concept" and "Architectural and urban planning concept". In the case of Expo 2025, a "city of the future", an area with the most modern technologies and infrastructure, should be built on the reserved territory.

Applications for participation are accepted until January 21, 2018.

Bids will be accepted from January 22 to February 21, 2018.
