Building fire safety experts to participate in the 100+ Forum

Konstantin Belousov, Director of the OPB Research Institute, will hold a meeting on "Fire safety of high-rise buildings, unique and technically complex facilities" for representatives of design and construction companies.

The business program of the 100+ Forum Russia will include specialized sessions dedicated to fire and complex safety of buildings and structures. They will be conducted by the Director of the Scientific Research Institute for Fire Safety (NII OPB) Konstantin Belousov. Konstantin Belousov, Candidate of Technical Sciences, expert on fire protection issues, is the author of more than 30 scientific papers and publications.

The speakers will be representatives of the Subcommittee on Fire and Integrated Safety of the National Association of Surveyors and Designers (NOPRIZ). Experts plan to discuss the state of the regulatory and technical base for ensuring fire safety of unique facilities. An overview of the new codes of practice for high-rise buildings and complexes will be presented. The agenda also includes issues of effective design of fire protection facilities. This includes special technical conditions for unique and technically complex facilities.

A report by Evgeny Meshalkin, Vice President for Science at NPO Pulse, will be devoted to the study of new approaches to the development of fire safety standards for high-rise buildings. Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Academician of the WANG Design Bureau, is one of the main developers of the system of regulatory documents on fire safety and directs scientific and technical developments on the creation of fire detection and extinguishing systems. He has about 300 scientific papers, of which more than 70 on the problems of fire protection of construction sites.

With the participation of E. Meshalkin, a complex of works is being carried out to prepare Special Technical conditions, design and install fire protection systems for more than 100 different structures (high-rise residential and public buildings, business centers, hotel and cultural entertainment complexes, warehouses, etc.). A number of facilities are included in the New Ring of Moscow program.
