An expert on sustainable development from Kentucky (USA) will talk about creating energy-efficient cities
The development of megacities requires new approaches to creating an urban environment. Experts on sustainable development are increasingly saying that modern cities should be intelligent, energy efficient, sustainably developing and comfortable to live in.
Stephen A. Rosa, PhD, an expert in energy management and sustainable urban development, prepared reports on the theory of "smart cities" especially for the forum participants. He is scheduled to participate in several thematic sessions on residential high–rises, energy-efficient skyscrapers, investments in high-rise projects and the operation of multifunctional buildings and complexes. An American specialist with more than 30 years of experience holds a PhD in Planning and Urban development, is a certified energy monitoring and management designer and an accredited LEED expert. Steven A. Rosa has implemented several projects on efficient management of energy and water resources totaling more than 100 million US dollars.
In the past, Dr. Rosa served as President of the Association of Energy Engineers. Currently, he is the President of RPM Asset Holdings in Louisville, Kentucky (USA), and also heads the Sustainable Development Professional (CSDP) Board and the Renewable Energy Professional (REP) Certification Board.
