French Spider-Man may visit Yekaterinburg

A preliminary confirmation has been received of the participation in the 100+ Forum Russia as a speaker and guest of Alain Robert, the French Spider-Man known as solo climber. Alone, he has conquered more than 80 ultra–tall skyscrapers around the world, including the world's tallest building, the Burj Khalifa (828 m), the Petronas, Sears and Taipei 101 towers.

Robert has gained no less fame as a speaker – he is a participant and special guest of the largest international conferences on high-rise construction, mountaineering, medicine and the psychology of success.

In 1993, Robert was awarded the medal of the International Olympic Committee "For solo performance". Robert's achievements are also mentioned in the Guinness Book of Records for 2008. Documentaries with Robert's participation have repeatedly won prizes at international adventure film festivals.

French Spider-Man's autobiographical book "With Bare Hands" translated into Russian and will be published as soon as possible.

As part of the 100+ Forum Russia, it is expected not only that Alain Robert will perform, but also that the famous Frenchman will climb the Vysotsky skyscraper in the very center of Yekaterinburg.

Let us remind you that 100+ Forum Russia is a professional international forum and exhibition dedicated to the design, construction, financing and operation of high–rise buildings. The forum is planned to be held in Yekaterinburg once a year or every two years. This year's event will take place on September 24-26, at the Hyatt Regency Yekaterinburg.

Organizers and strategic partners: the World Council for High-Rise Buildings and the Urban Environment (CTBUH), the exhibition operator Deutsche Messe RUS, the Union of Architects of Russia, the National Association of Developers.

The forum will be funded by both regional and major international participants in the construction market. The program includes a conference and thematic round tables, presentations of domestic and foreign high-rise projects and a cultural and entertainment part. Among the speakers and guests, leaders of the global construction and architecture business, government officials and a wide range of professionals are expected.
