The tenth 100+ TechnoBuild Forum and Exhibition will be held in Yekaterinburg from October 3-6.
In 2023, the International Construction Forum and the 100+ TechnoBuild Exhibition will once again run for four days, from October 3-6. The dates and concept of the tenth event were approved at a meeting of the regional organizing committee chaired by the Governor of the Sverdlovsk Region Evgeny Kuyvashev.
"Our construction forum has gained well–deserved fame and authority as one of the key platforms in the field of high-tech construction," the governor said. – Its scale is growing from year to year. The year 2023 will be very responsible and full of important events. This is the 300th anniversary of Yekaterinburg, the International University Sports Festival, and a number of other major events. Now we are actively preparing the city to receive a large number of guests. We are doing everything to ensure that all events are held with dignity, at the highest organizational level. It is necessary to take an equally responsible approach to the preparation of the forum."
Arkady Chernetsky, First Deputy Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Sverdlovsk Region and Vice President of NOSTRA, recalled that this year almost 19,000 people visited 100+, the number of exhibitors was 322, and the business program sections were 207. For the first time, the number of speakers exceeded 600.
Now 100+ confidently holds its place in the top of the leaders among the country's construction activities. Vyacheslav Trapeznikov, President of the Guild of Builders of the Urals, stressed that the decision to increase the duration of the event by one day in 2022 proved successful: the business program expanded without prejudice to the audience, and the exhibition received even more visitors, so the practice will continue.
"This year we have significantly exceeded the plan in terms of the number of sections of the business program, in 2023 we plan 200 sections and 700 speakers, but perhaps there will be more,– said Vyacheslav Trapeznikov. – Traditionally, the key topics of the business program will be the design, construction and operation of unique buildings and structures, energy efficiency and safety of facilities – this has been the constant basis of the 100+ since the very first forum. As well as "green" construction, innovative materials and technologies, BIM design, planning and development of transport infrastructure, and a comfortable urban environment. The forums for a comfortable urban environment and interior design have proven themselves well (each one took two days and almost all sections gathered a full hall), we suggest continuing the practice of holding them."
In 2022, the Glavgosexpertiza of Russia conference was held in Yekaterinburg for the first time with great success. The organizers propose to transfer this experience to conferences of other departments and include it in the business program of the 100+ Forum of State Construction Supervision in 2023.
"Last week I had a meeting with the head of the State Construction Supervision Service of St. Petersburg, he enthusiastically supported this idea and confirmed his interest in participating," Vyacheslav Trapeznikov added.
In addition, collaboration with other construction activities is planned.
As for the exhibition, it was decided to place it in two pavilions in 2023. The first one will be occupied by stands of developers and manufacturers of materials, technologies and equipment, an information technology cluster; the second one will be occupied by a cluster of landscaping, interior design and a forum of realtors. The planned number of participants is 400.
The All-Russian Engineering and Architecture Award 100+ Awards will also be held for the third time. Applications will be accepted on March 1. In December, the specialized 100+ Journal will be published for the second time, which includes the most interesting materials based on the results of the 100+.
The key co-organizers traditionally included the government of the Sverdlovsk region, the administration of Yekaterinburg and the Guild of Builders of the Urals.
