Harbin delegation to visit Yekaterinburg

The delegation will include representatives of the Harbin Government on construction and architecture, the leadership of the construction Committee and the design Department.

Harbin is a major political, financial, economic, administrative and scientific center of Northeast China. About four million people live in the city. The main industries are energy and machine-building.

Harbin is home to the tallest metal tower in Asia, the Dragon Tower. This 336-meter-high television tower was built in 2002 and houses a TV center and a meteorological station. The tower is a tourist attraction and is open to the public. The harmonious neighborhood of high-rise modern buildings of the business center with small houses of old Russian architecture gives a special flavor to the city.
