You are reading the first digest of preparations for the VI International Forum and Exhibition 100+ Forum Russia, which will be held in Yekaterinburg from October 29 to November 1, 2019.
More than 2,000 specialists will take part in the forum, including experts, speakers, delegates from Russian regions and more than 20 countries around the world.
For the first time, the forum will last four days, and it will be held at a new venue: the Congress Center. The Yekaterinburg-EXPO International Exhibition Center.
The forum program includes 70 sections.
Diru Tadani, an American architect and urban planner, vice president of the International Community of Urban and Regional Planners (ISOCFRP), has already confirmed his participation. At the 100+ Forum Russia, Diru Tadani will talk about the principles of new urbanism, taking into account both the most modern technologies and the principles of ancient teachings on the organization of spaces.
Federico Parolotto is the head of MIC - Mobility in Chain, a participant in the planning of transport systems in many major cities around the world. Mr. Parolotto has worked as a consultant for Foster + Partners, KPF, OMA and other international companies. He acted as a consultant on the draft amendments to the general plan of Moscow. At the 100+ Forum Russia, Federico Parolotto will talk about the cities of the future: about the main functions of megacities and about the transport planning of cities, the creation of walking and cycling routes.
Monish Siripuraru, an Indian architect, founder of Ant Studio, developer of The Beehive - Beehive unique cooling system, will talk about the prospect of converting ancient technologies into modern ones to improve the environmental situation, as well as about UN environmental programs.
Oleg Shapiro, architect, founder of the architectural bureau WOWHAUS, will take part in the business program 100+ Forum Russia.
Vladimir Talapov is a specialist in the implementation of BIM in design and construction, and is a member of the expert council of the annual All-Russian BIM Technologies competition. At the 100+ Forum Russia, Vladimir Talapov will talk about the role of the technical customer in the process of information modeling of construction sites from the beginning of work with the construction site to its commissioning.
In total, about 300 speakers will speak at the forum this year.
The third exhibition of innovative technologies and materials in construction, 100+ TECHNOLOGIES, will be held on October 29-31 at the 100+ Forum Russia.
Half of the exhibition stands have already been booked.
The selection of participants is carried out on a competitive basis, as the main purpose of the exhibition is to demonstrate the best that exists today in the construction industry: advanced technologies and the latest developments of Russian and foreign companies. Applications for participation have already been received from 100 exhibitors from five regions of the country.:
- BASF Building Systems will present materials for the construction of durable buildings and waterproofing foundations at 100+ TECHNOLOGIES,
- KNAUF GYPSUM - weather-resistant exterior fences that withstand record amounts of precipitation and temperature changes,
- Chelyabinsk Elevator Building Plant "Witchel" - elevators with tempered mirror glass panels and silent energy-saving winches,
- New Ground – modern technologies in underground construction and foundation engineering,
- GranitInvest - options for urban landscaping using granite products,
- Uponor Russia – underfloor heating systems and a decentralized heating scheme for apartments using the CombiPort apartment heating station.
In preparation for the second BIM Technologies Forum, which will be held at 100+ Forum Russia on October 29, a seminar on "BIM technologies in the construction industry" was held in Yekaterinburg on June 11. Experience and prospects of application", organized by the Ural Builders Association. Vyacheslav Trapeznikov, President of the Association, addressed the audience with a welcoming speech. The seminar discussed the following questions: "Why design in BIM?", "How designers change the face of the city", "Experience in implementing BIM in construction production".
The most interesting issues were the practical application of BIM in the compilation of classifiers and work on the construction site. In general, the vector of topical BIM design topics has changed: questions about the need for implementation have given way to practical tasks and details when working with models.
160 specialists from Yekaterinburg, Tyumen, Perm, and Omsk took part in the discussion. This is the third seminar from the educational cycle of the Association in 2019.
33 media outlets from Moscow and the largest regions of Russia have already become information partners of 100+ Forum Russia.
