Landscaping, high-rise buildings, parks, renovation – the city invites you to discuss the creation of a comfortable environment

The sections "Comfortable urban environment: parks of Russia", "Height in the strategy of spatial development of Yekaterinburg" and "Renovation of urban areas of megacities" will be held at the 100+ Forum Russia. The organizer is the Yekaterinburg City Administration.

In each of the blocks, the speakers raise important issues related to the development of Yekaterinburg and other megalopolises not only in Russia, but also abroad.  

In the program of sections:

  • The Tatyshev Park project in Krasnoyarsk is the central recreational area of the city, connecting the city's districts and public areas with bicycle and pedestrian paths,
  • The Boulevard Ribbon in Yekaterinburg and the issues of achieving a balance of interests between government, urban society and business in the design of public spaces.

High-rise buildings will be discussed as part of the discussion of the spatial development of the city, experts will talk about the formation of high-rise centers and maps of high-rise construction, including approaches to this type of building using the example of the Vysotsky Business Center.

In the section on urban renewal, European strategies and the transformation of Russian residential development will be compared, and Just van den Hoek (the Netherlands) and Matti Kayansinko (Finland) will talk about urbanization trends abroad.
