BIM technologies in construction: it is no longer exotic, but a real means of saving for the developer.

On October 5 and 6, the forum will host meetings of experts on the development and application of BIM technologies in design and construction.

The round table "Unique BIM: Russian and foreign application practice" will be held on October 5 at 16.00. Moderator Alexander Osipov, CEO of the Academy of BIM, has been involved in BIM technologies since 2000 and is currently one of Russia's leading experts in this field. A. Osipov will present the report "Unified Library of Families as an integral element of the marketing strategy of design organizations and manufacturing companies in 2018."

The participants of the round table will also discuss the development of the regulatory and technical base of information modeling in construction, the use of BIM technologies for bridge design. Gianluca Vallerini, CEO of the Italian company InCiDe Engineering, will talk about the BIM project for the renovation of the Galfa Tower in Milan.

On October 6, at 9.30 a.m., a round table "Implementation of major projects in BIM. Theory, practice, additional opportunities of digital technologies". The program includes reports on the experience of using 3D laser scanning results to create an information model of large construction projects, the use of BIM in the construction of stadiums for the 2018 FIFA World Cup, modeling the aerodynamics and ecology of urban areas based on semantic 3D models, and others.

On the same day, at 2 p.m., two round tables "Expanding the boundaries with BIM" will be held, it will be hosted by Alexander Gazizulin, CEO of AMKAD, and "Calculation complexes for building structures: hidden opportunities", moderated by Murat Chubakov, Head of the Department of Scientific Research and Research in the field of Urban Planning Safety and Engineering Protection against Natural Disasters of the Federal State Budgetary Institution TSNIIP of the Ministry of Construction of Russia.

Experts will consider the experience of using BIM processes in development, a comprehensive plan for the implementation of BIM technologies in the construction industry of St. Petersburg, new opportunities for the implementation of digital construction, methods and software tools for evaluating the accuracy of computer modeling, aspects of the interaction of BIM systems with calculation programs (SCAD, LIRA CAD, LIRA Soft, STARK ES, ING+), etc.

We invite all interested specialists to take part in the round tables. The sessions are free of charge, registration on the website is required.
