Base jumpers of the world will go to conquer Yekaterinburg skyscrapers

Skydiving competitions from skyscrapers will be held as part of the 100+ Forum Russia 2015 high-rise construction forum.

Last year, the famous French mountaineer Alain Robert, better known as "Spider-Man", climbed the Vysotsky skyscraper as part of the event.

This time, the Iset Tower, the northernmost skyscraper in the world, has been chosen as the base jumper's jumping facility.

According to Ural base jumper Ratmir Nagimyanov, championships in this type of extreme sports are traditionally held in Switzerland, Turkey, Norway, last year the extreme athletes gathered in Ingushetia, and this year the competition will be held in Yekaterinburg. Special requirements will be imposed on the participants, experienced base jumpers with a number of jumps of 200 or more will be allowed. 30 people are expected, 10 of them are foreigners. The championship will run for two days.
