The Zaha Hadid Architectural Studio will be represented at the forum by the Executive Director
Christos Passas received his professional education at the Pratt Institute School of Architecture in Brooklyn (USA). He is a graduate of the Architectural Association in London. He has been working at Zaha Hadid Architects since 1998. He started his career as a senior designer, then became a project director. One of the most famous projects of Zaha Hadid Architects is the Phaeno Science Center in Wolfsburg (Germany), implemented in 2005. The media called it one of the 50 best buildings of the 20th century and assessed it as a structure that completely changes the vision of the future.
Christos Passas led the project of Dominion Tower Business Center, the first building of Zaha Hadid in Moscow. His works also include the design of 33-35 Hoxton Square in London (UK), the Beko Masterplan multi-purpose complex in Belgrade (Serbia) and Eleftheria Square in Nicosia (Cyprus).
Together with Zaha Hadid, the architect participated in the projects of the Lois Richard Rosenthal Center for Contemporary Art in Cincinnati (USA), the Phaeno Science Center in Wolfsburg (Germany), the Opus Office Tower shopping and office center in Abu Dhabi (UAE) and the Sheikh Zayed Bridge in the capital of the United Arab Emirates, the Reina Sofia Museum Extension Art Center in Madrid (Spain).
Currently, Christos Passas teaches parametric design and urban planning at the Architectural Association in London, and often participates in university competitions as a jury throughout the UK.
