600 speakers, 300 exhibitors, 200 sections: The Russian Ministry of Construction assessed the progress of preparations for the 100+ TechnoBuild

The International Construction Forum and exhibition 100+ TechnoBuild, which will be held in Yekaterinburg from October 18 to 21, will be the largest in nine years. The business program will include more than 200 sections and 600 speakers, which is the largest number of such events in the country. The exhibition will bring together 300 exhibitors. This was announced by the Governor of the Sverdlovsk Region, Evgeny Kuyvashev, at the organizing committee of the Ministry of Construction of Russia, dedicated to the preparation for the event.

Irek Fayzullin, the head of the Russian Ministry of Construction, noted that in the current conditions, the sustainable operation of the construction complex is one of the most important tasks facing the country.

"Today, in the context of ensuring the technological sovereignty of our country, a large number of new areas of activity have appeared. In this regard, the work of the 100+ TechnoBuild 2022 forum acquires new meanings and scale. The next forum should present the possibilities of the Russian construction industry, become a platform for discussing strategically important issues and a center for the formation of effective industrial cooperation," he stressed.

Evgeny Kuyvashev recalled that the main theme of this year's 100+ is "Building the future. New opportunities", and it fully meets the challenges facing the industry today.

"Special emphasis will be placed on increasing import dependence in construction, as well as on the local production of materials and technologies. At the same time, the forum's program will continue to be based on the design, construction and operation of unique buildings and structures for any purpose, energy efficiency and safety, green construction, innovative materials and technologies, and BIM design," the governor said.

In addition, the business program will include six thematic forums (from climate engineering to design) and two specialized conferences: "Technical Regulation in Construction" and "Development of the Institute of Construction Expertise." The fourth day will be devoted to the training of industry specialists.

The exhibition will be located in three pavilions. Representatives of 36 cities and 25 regions of Russia will take part in it.

"The largest exhibitor area is the production and distribution of materials and technologies," said Vera Belous, head of the 100+ training group. "The BIM design exhibition cluster has almost doubled in size. It will feature about 40 Russian companies that produce software and develop new products for the construction industry. We also focused on the issues of local production, import substitution, and those tasks that builders are currently facing, both in the forum and exhibition areas."

The landscaping cluster will be presented in the form of Russia's largest indoor park with real landscaping, playgrounds and sports grounds, and small architectural forms. The design cluster is in the form of cubes with lively interiors from Yekaterinburg designers. They will also host master classes.

Last year, 13,000 people visited 100+ TechnoBuild, and 20,000 more viewed the sections online. This time, the organizers expect an increase in participants due to the expansion of the program and an additional fourth day.
