100+Forum Russia has received the status of the country's main engineering and construction event
On behalf of Mikhail Me, the Minister of Construction and Housing of the Russian Federation, a meeting of the forum's organizing committee was held in Moscow, chaired by Deputy Minister Elena Sierra. The meeting was attended by representatives of the organizing committee of the forum and the organizers of the event - the Central Research Institute of the Ministry of Construction of Russia, the Union of Architects of Russia, SIC Stroitelstvo, the Association for the Development of Steel Construction (ARCC).
It was decided to hold the high-rise and unique construction forum annually. The leadership of the Ministry of Construction recommends involving all its subordinate institutions, research institutes, specialized educational institutions, and leading design and construction organizations in the country.
The participation of the delegation of the Russian Ministry of Construction, headed by Minister Mikhail Men, in the forum has been officially confirmed. He will personally oversee the preparations for the forum and will come to the 100+ Forum Russia on September 25 to hold the final plenary session.
Heads of regional ministries of construction, heads of cities and regions, chief architects, developers, engineering and design organizations, investors and developers, and major contracting organizations will arrive from the regions of Russia. Delegations from Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan are expected. The People's Republic of China will send representatives from Beijing, Shanghai, and Harbin to the forum.
The participation of representatives of the federal agency in the forum provides a good opportunity to start a constructive dialogue between the construction community and government representatives, to raise concerns and be heard. The previous 100+ Forum Russia allowed not only to gather on one site and discuss the topics of high-rise construction in Russia, but also to clearly formulate the problem hindering the development of the industry in this direction. Namely, the lack of a regulatory and technical framework that allows the construction of residential buildings above 75 meters and public buildings above 50 meters. Solutions were outlined in the roadmap signed following the results of the forum to improve the business climate in the construction of unique buildings and structures. The first step in its implementation was the preparation for the approval of the first regulatory document - a set of rules for the design of high-rise buildings.
In addition, the 100+ Forum Russia is a unique opportunity to learn about all the latest developments of scientists, discuss best practices, and learn from the best domestic and foreign experience. One of the most pressing topics in Russia, in the light of preparations for the 2018 FIFA World Cup, is the reconstruction and construction of stadiums as unique facilities. Architects, developers and contractors of the main sports arenas of the World Cup are expected at the forum.
Participation in the forum is free of charge. Pre-registration is required in the "Become a member" section.
