100+ TechnoBuild and USAHU announce the start of the competition for students

The International Forum and exhibition 100+ Technobuild and the Ural State University of Architecture and Art announce the All-Russian competition "Dam as a regenerated city center". Students of specialized university specialties are invited to participate (individually or in teams of up to five people).

As part of the competition, students are invited to develop a concept for the reboot of Yekaterinburg's Historic Park (the section from Lenin Street to Malyshev). In order for all participants to immerse themselves in the context of this place and get to know it better, introductory lectures will be held as part of the first stage. 

During the second stage, the contestants must propose ideas for the development of the dam and the surrounding area so that it would be more involved in modern urban life, attracting businesses, citizens and tourists.

Terms of the competition:

• applications for participation are accepted until July 30.;
• until August 20 – introductory webinars on the competition area;
• Projects will be submitted to the organizing committee by September 20.;
• September 27 – announcement of the finalists;
• October 5-7 – defense of the finalists' works and awarding of the winners.

All participants of the competition will receive diplomas. 100,000 rubles are provided for the first place, 30,000 rubles for the second, and 20,000 rubles for the third. The finalists' works will be submitted to the Yekaterinburg administration with a recommendation to include them in the Action Plan for the celebration of the 300th anniversary of the city.
