"The forum filled the coronavirus vacuum to discuss problematic fire safety issues."

Konstantin Belousov, Ph.D., Co-chairman of the Subcommittee on Fire and Integrated Safety of the NOPRIZ, explained why the section on improving fire safety standards in construction at 100+ TechnoBuild attracted tremendous interest in 2020.

"In 2020, due to the coronavirus, these issues were rarely discussed, and a vacuum was created on the topic. At the same time, in 2020, many regulatory documents were adopted by both the Ministry of Construction of Russia and the Ministry of Emergency Situations, and problematic issues began to arise on them. And the professional community considers it important to raise these topics, which is why there was such great interest in our section, and there was such a high occupancy rate. I believe that such events are always useful, they end with raising questions, which we then try to refer further to the authorities," the moderator shared.

According to Konstantin Belousov, the section on this topic will be no less relevant in 2021.

"I am very glad that the forum has become traditional, it is very useful for the community. We are ready to support it annually," he concluded.
