100+ Forum Russia awards students for the best hometown development project
The architectural competition for students "100+ Evolution of the city" will be held in preparation for the 100+ Forum Russia. Students and student teams (up to 5 people) of specialized university specialties are invited.
Participants will develop projects to develop tourism in their hometowns, taking into account their cultural and historical heritage. In the presentation of the project, the contestants should talk about the uniqueness of their settlement. These may include historical events, famous residents, natural attractions, world-class achievements, and other features. Based on these attractions, develop a tourist route and a project proposal for the development of the city to attract tourist flows.
The competition is held in full-time and in absentia from May 27 to October 7, 2020 in two stages.
The first stage is correspondence, intramural. Applications from participants to the organizing committee of the university are accepted until June 15, 2020. The participating students must provide information about the key idea, the concept of the proposal. The Organizing Committee of the university selects the best works and submits them to the Organizing Committee of the competition (contest@forum-100.ru ).
The second stage is in-person and in absentia, from September 4 to October 7, 2020. The Organizing Committee of the competition determines the winners (1st, 2nd and 3rd place) in absentia in the nominations:
- capital city;
- regional city;
- an urban-type settlement.
The winners will present their projects at the 100+ Forum Russia on October 7. The contestants will receive diplomas, and valuable prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places.
The works of the winners will be collected in a catalog and presented on the website. forum-100.ru They will also be transferred to municipalities for inclusion in the settlement development strategy and in the plans for the implementation of the national project "Creating a comfortable urban environment".
The organizers of the competition are the International Forum and Exhibition 100+ TechnoBuild and the Ural State University of Architecture and Art (USAHU).
