100+ Forum Russia 2019 and the World Urban Forum will be held on the same day

The International Forum of High-rise and Unique Construction 100+ Forum Russia will be held from October 29 to November 1 in Yekaterinburg. Representatives of the construction industry will gather in the capital of the Urals for one of the largest engineering and construction congresses for the sixth time.

The theme of the 100+ Forum Russia in 2019 is "The City of the Future". Eco-friendly, comfortable, safe, high-tech, "smart" - these aspects in the construction and design of buildings and cities will form the basis of the program and the exhibition. The agenda will include issues of digitalization and the construction of "smart cities", green and comfortable, growing not only upward and outward, but also developing underground and even underwater space. In addition, the dates of the forum will coincide with World Cities Day, which has been held annually on the initiative of the United Nations since 2014, and in 2019 it will be held in Yekaterinburg on October 31.

This year, the 100+ Forum Russia will be located in the new congress hall of the Yekaterinburg-EXPO International Exhibition Center. Various business program events have been developed for the multifunctional halls of the congress hall. In addition to the traditional thematic sessions in the form of seminars, round tables, and discussions, the forum will feature public lectures and interviews by world-renowned architects and construction experts, workshops, foresight sessions, battles, and more. The exhibition will be located in the lobby of the congress center, 100 exhibitors are expected.

The organizers are also changing the format of the entire forum. On the first day (October 29), 18 thematic sections and a plenary session will be held with the participation of the Ministry of Construction of Russia, the official opening of the forum and exhibition, sections of co-organizers (the Ministry of Construction of Russia, NOSTROI, FAA Glavgosexpertiza of Russia, NIISF RAASN, SIC "Construction", etc.), as well as object sections, round tables on design and construction of bridges, transport interchanges, parks, theaters, and others. There will be lectures by world architecture stars, a BIM hackathon on digital project development, and a foresight session on the prospects of the construction industry.
On the second day (October 30) there will be 24 thematic sections dedicated to urban planning, facade design, geo-surveys, green building, architecture, urban organization according to vast and Feng Shui, transport, security, development, as well as lectures by Boris Bernasconi and Philip Nikandrov.
On the third day (October 31)– there will be "one day" forums within the framework of the 100+ Forum Russia: the Russian BIM Technologies Forum, the Forum of Unique Wooden Housing Construction, the Forum of Engineers and Designers, and the Architects Forum.
On November 1, the forum and the exhibition will complete their work, but technical tours to the iconic built and under construction sites of Yekaterinburg will take place for the forum participants.

The 100+ Forum Russia is one of the largest congresses on the design, construction, financing and operation of high–rise and unique structures, as well as on the development of the country's construction industry. The 100+ Technologies exhibition is held annually at the forum, bringing together more than 100 exhibitors – leading companies in the construction industry from around the world.
In 2018, 8878 people from 19 countries, 46 regions of the Russian Federation, and 99 cities registered to participate in the forum and attend the exhibition. During the three days of the forum, 74 business and scientific events were held. 327 speakers, including 25 foreign speakers, made presentations. The exhibition featured 100 exhibitors from 20 cities and 15 regions of the Russian Federation. Vladimir Yakushev, Head of the Russian Ministry of Construction, took part in the plenary session.
