100+ Forum Russia 2015 will be held in Yekaterinburg
This year's first meeting of the Organizing Committee of the International Forum of High-Rise and Unique Construction was held in Yekaterinburg as part of a visit by a delegation from the Ministry of Construction and Housing and Communal Services of the Russian Federation with the participation of representatives of the Central Research Institute of the Ministry of Construction of Russia, the Government of the Sverdlovsk Region, the city administration, heads of specialized enterprises and organizations.
Deputy Chairman of the organizing Committee of the forum A.M. Chernetsky noted that the first high-rise construction forum was highly appreciated by both the professional community and representatives of federal and municipal authorities.
The initiative to hold the forum in 2015 was supported by the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Communal Services of the Russian Federation. At the meeting, it was announced that the second International Forum of High-rise and Unique Construction 100+ ForumRussia 2015 will be held in Yekaterinburg on September 23-25, 2015 at the Yekaterinburg-EXPO IEC.
This year, the forum is expected to bring together more than 2,000 participants, including experts, speakers, and delegates from Russian regions and more than 20 countries around the world. World-renowned architects and designers, heads of cities, investors, developers, engineering and design organizations are invited.
During the meeting, the launch of the Center for High-Rise and Unique Competencies in Construction was officially announced. The Center's activities are designed to improve the business climate in the construction of unique and high-rise buildings, including reducing administrative procedures at all stages of the project, from the preparation of urban planning documentation to the operation of the facility, as well as participate in the improvement of regulatory and technical documentation.
The Organizing Committee of the forum approved a proposal to expand the business program of the event and organize a group of sections and round tables to present projects for the construction and reconstruction of sports arenas and stadiums for the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
The idea of holding the skydiving World Cup from high-rise buildings was unanimously recognized as interesting. The Russian Base Jumping Federation will become the organizer of the championship. The Iset tower is proposed as an object for jumping. By the decision of the organizing committee, the championship is included in the program of the 100+ Forum Russia 2015.
