100+ Education – a platform for students of architectural and construction universities

The program of the international forum of high-rise and unique construction 100+ Forum Russia, which will be held at the Yekaterinburg Expo IEC from October 4-6, has been expanded with a number of events designed for students of architectural and construction universities.

"The experience of the forum shows that our events are of great interest to students of specialized universities from different cities. That is why we have built a special venue for the events of the educational cluster. Pavilion 3 has a 100+ Education lecture hall for 200 people. We are preparing the program together with the country's higher educational institutions," says Irina Belous, Executive Secretary of the organizing committee of 100+ Forumrussia. – In addition to a separate educational program, students will have a unique opportunity to attend master classes of the stars of Russian and world architecture and personally ask them questions about their future profession."

The 100+ Education program will feature seminars and lectures by leading Russian and foreign experts, master classes by representatives of world and domestic architecture, and open lectures by teachers and professors of the International Association of Construction Universities.

Juliette Jiang, Senior Vice President of the BROAD Group, will share her experience in building eco-friendly buildings using the example of the 57-storey Mini Sky City, built in China in 19 days.

Nikita Tokarev, director of the MARSH Architectural School, will deliver an open lecture for students, and in the business program of the forum he will talk about the creation of the ARTPLAY art space in Moscow on the territory of a former factory.

Participation in a business game about "green" construction, the GREEN ZOOM Game, will help break the stereotypes that energy–efficient construction is expensive, incomprehensible, and unnecessary for consumers and developers in Russia. The game will take place on the first day of the forum at the 100+ Education site. Participants will be able to assess the extent of the impact of "green" solutions on the level of sales of real estate in an interactive mode.

The program of the second day of the forum includes an exhibition and defense of the works of the winners and prize-winners of the international competition of coursework projects in architecture, urban planning, design and art "Green Line", dedicated to eco-design and "green" architecture. The 100 most interesting projects of the competition will be presented.

On the third day, the 100+ Education student battle "100+ CONCEPT CLAUSURA" will take place. Students of architectural universities will develop their own options for building a site in one of the districts of Yekaterinburg, which is planned to be used for EXPO-2025 facilities.

As part of the business program, students will certainly be interested in master classes by the stars of Russian architecture. Sergey Choban, Managing Partner of the SPEECH Bureau, will hold a 100+ author workshop at the forum on October 4. On the same day, Sergey Skuratov, founder, president and Creative Director of SERGEY SKURATOV ARCHITECTS, will give a lecture.
