"Soft Landing": BIM as a developer's savings tool
This is what is called in Europe the stage of efficient and economical transfer of an object from builders to operators. The use of BIM at all stages of the facility's life cycle allows you to put the facility into operation at no extra cost and save on maintenance and repairs in the future.
As part of the preparation of 100+ TechnoBuild, a webinar "BIM from design to operation" was held. The specialists of Stroytekproekt LLC (Yekaterinburg), Semren and Monsson Rus LLC (St. Petersburg), BIM Cluster LLC (Yekaterinburg), and IBS Information Business Systems (Moscow) presented their own developments in the field of automation of construction processes. Representatives of the Department of Information Modeling in Construction, UrFU Institute of Construction and Architecture, spoke about the possibilities of learning BIM from scratch.
