100+ CONTESTS
The Sverdlovsk organization of the Union of Architects of Russia, with the support of the Yekaterinburg City Administration, NOPRIZ and 100+ TechnoBuild, is accepting applications for the ARCH-IDEA 2021 educational and competitive program. The topic this time was the development of landscaping of the coastal area of the Lower Isetsky Pond in Yekaterinburg on the section from Malogvardeytsev Street to Borodin Street.
The ARCH-IDEA program is held annually in order to improve professional skills and build knowledge on creating a comfortable urban environment, taking into account the principles of the Strategy of Spatial Development of the city of Yekaterinburg.
ARCH-IDEA 2021 is the first educational program for the study of urban space, upon completion of which a state–issued certificate of advanced training is issued.

Dmitry Kuzevanov, Director of the A.A. Gvozdev National Research Institute of Natural Sciences, JSC SIC Stroitelstvo. During his years at the Institute, he participated in the development of basic regulatory documents in the field of calculation of reinforced concrete structures, reinforcement and repair, quality control and the use of innovative solutions and materials.
Dorte Christensen, Director of Architecture, Atelier PRO Architects. Her projects focus on creating a healthy living environment that stimulates a person's personal development and improves existing space qualities. Dort's portfolio includes public buildings with social, educational, and cultural functions, residential buildings, healthcare facilities, and residential care homes.
Thomas Schroepfer, Professor, Singapore University of Technology and Design. His books have been translated into several languages, among them "Densely Populated + Green Cities: Architecture as an Urban Ecosystem" (2020), "Densely Populated + Green: Innovative Types of Buildings for Sustainable Urban Architecture" (2016) and "Ecological Urban Architecture" (2012). He is a recipient of prestigious awards and recognitions, including the President's Design Award.
