On September 30, 2019, Yekaterinburg hosted a meeting of the Organizing Committee of the VI International Forum and Exhibition of High-rise and Unique Construction 100+ Forum Russia.

"This year's business program of the forum includes 80 sections, which will be held in parallel in 8 halls of the Convention Center of the International Exhibition Center "Yekaterinburg-EXPO", 320 speakers will speak, 50 of them are foreign. More than 100 exhibitors will take part in the exhibition, including technology and materials manufacturers, major developers, and architectural firms." - the head of the working group 100+ Forum Russia told the audience  Vera Belous.

At the meeting of the Organizing Committee, the 100+ development strategy until 2025 was discussed in order to acquire the status of the largest construction event in the country. As stated by Arkady Chernetsky, Senator of the Federation Council, Deputy Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the 100+ Forum Russia, "it is necessary to consolidate the status of the main platform for shaping the global and technological construction agenda and state policy. To achieve this, by 2025 it is necessary to increase the number of exhibition spaces to 50,000 square meters; the number of exhibitors to 500; the number of business program sections to 100."

The composition of the 2020 Organizing Committee and the head of the working group were also approved, and Vera Belous, Executive Director of the Ural Builders Association, became the head. The date of the next forum and exhibition is the first decade of October.

100+ Forum Russia Business Program

Participation in the forum has been confirmed:

  •  Joao Silva, Managing Partner of Lissoni Casal Ribeiro, coordinates the department of architectural competitions and the development of concepts for projects around the world, such as NYC Aquatrium, Language Symphony, and the world-famous High Lines project.Joao Silva will take part in two sessions.: "The city of the future: how it should be" and "Transport planning of the cities of the future". He will talk about the futuristic concept of the Language Museum in London and about the landscape of the city of the future using the example of the High Lines project in New York.;
  • Alexey Kushnir is the head of the Information Modeling Department at the Swedish architectural firm Semrén & Månsson. As Alexey himself admits, "for 50 years now, since the creation of the architectural bureau, along with the architectural aspects, we have been working no less enthusiastically on the economic and technical aspects of design. And in order to bring the investor closer to understanding the project by providing reliable information, we use data analysis tools of information models." Alexey will make a presentation at the 100+ Forum Russia on "Changing the role of an architect in the digital industry. New Investment Risk Management Tools for developers" at the session of the Russian BIM Technologies Forum, which will be held as part of the 100+ Forum Russia on October 29-30;
  • Ksenia Lukyashenko is a partner at EcoStandard group and Head of the Environmental Certification Department. Ksenia has 10 years of experience in green building certification and the development of Russian green standards. Under her leadership, Russia's first facility, the Hamilton Standard–Nauka plant, was certified according to the international LEED system. At the 100+ Forum Russia, Ksenia Lukyashchenko will give a lecture on "green" neighborhoods: goals and modern principles of building an eco-friendly environment according to LEED and BREEAM. Current requirements for the layout of streets, open spaces for users, landscaping, methods of minimizing environmental disturbance and its protection in accordance with international standards will be outlined.

On October 30, the forum will host an object session dedicated to the construction of the UMMC multifunctional ice arena in Yekaterinburg. The speakers are Daniil Kritsky (CEO of Ice Arena JSC), Miroslav Shtuka (CEO of S&P Architektura), Feldmeier Gerhard (Managing Director of HPP International) and Sergey Smirnov (Deputy CEO of GORPROEKT CJSC). The session will discuss the organization of work in the design and construction of unique facilities, the use of modern technologies and the design of a public space for the Ice Arena as an element of the development of Yekaterinburg's green strategy.

100+ Technologies for Cities Exhibition

99 applications have been submitted for participation in the exhibition. The enterprises of the Sverdlovsk region are in the lead in terms of the number of participants, in second place  Moscow, and St. Petersburg is on the third floor. There are 19 foreign companies among the participants.

New participants of the exhibition:

  • TIMILINK will install its "Urban Smartphone" terminals in the exhibition hall. This is an innovative public gadget that can make calls, access the Internet, show videos, provide information, sell tickets, goods, services, take selfies and much more.;
  • VASTERM LLC will present floor-mounted heating convectors, floor and wall mounted convectors and radiators.;
  • JSC "MOSTDORGEOTREST" will demonstrate software for processing materials for dynamic soil testing of buildings and structures.
  • Yugor-Ural LLC will present its product line - street lights, small architectural forms: benches, urns, flowerpots; cast iron and aluminum products.

 

100+ Forum Russia in the media

100+ Forum Russia now has 100 information partners across the country. Media accreditation is open for work at the forum from September 29 to November 1.
