The VII International 100+ TechnoBuild Forum and Exhibition is scheduled to be held in Yekaterinburg from October 6 to 8 with the support of the Russian Ministry of Construction, the Government of the Sverdlovsk Region and the Yekaterinburg City Administration.

Despite the difficult situation due to the spread of the new coronavirus infection (COVID-19), we are actively preparing for the forum and exhibition. In July, a decision will be made on the format of the event.

The key theme of this year's 100+ is "Conscious Construction." Special attention will be paid to the competent, meaningful development of urban infrastructure, which has a direct impact on the quality of life of citizens, which has become especially relevant during the pandemic.

The business program of the forum includes 90 events, more than 350 Russian and international speakers have been invited, many of them have confirmed their participation.

Takaharu Tezuka, President of Tezuka Architects, was born in Tokyo, studied architecture at the Musashi Institute of Technology and in University of Pennsylvania. His office's work is notable for its attention to people, their activities in buildings, and their relationships. The trend can be traced in the projects of schools, office buildings and hospitals.

Diego Lo Presti, Professor of Geotechnical Engineering at the University of Pisa, will share his experience in the reconstruction of the Morandi Bridge in Genoa. The viaduct across the river partially collapsed in August 2018, and now its restoration is almost complete.

Timur Zharkov, Technical Director of Uponor Rus, will talk about effective solutions for removing heat flows using cooled surfaces. One of the optimal solutions is the floor cooling system, which has been successfully implemented at Bangkok International Airport, Domodedovo and other facilities.

100+ Technologies for Cities Exhibition

For the first time, "Urban infrastructure" was allocated to a separate thematic cluster of the exhibition. It is planned to present communal infrastructure, recreational areas (parks, squares, playgrounds and recreation areas), transport system (street and road network, pedestrian and bike paths, etc.).

Among the exhibitors of this direction is CNTO KSI from Chelyabinsk. The company specializes in the production of lifting platforms for the disabled, equipping building entrances with equipment for low-mobility groups of the population in accordance with the requirements of the state program "Accessible Environment".

Novouralsky Metalwork Plant will present the Streetlight product line at the exhibition, which includes innovative lighting systems and landscaping structures.

To date, applications for participation in the exhibition have been submitted by more than 30 companies from 9 cities and 6 regions of Russia.
