What provides security in a modern metropolis? What will cities look like after the pandemic? The questions were answered by participants of the joint conference 100+ Forum Russia and RBC.

Murat Altuyev, CEO of ITV Group:

Video surveillance is one of the most effective ways to ensure security.
There are technologies that provide "soft" safety without limiting our rights - remote determination of human temperature, monitoring compliance with safety regulations at work, tracking safety in public places by the position of the human body.

Sergey Kuznetsov, Chief architect of Moscow:

Creating a comfortable environment is the most important thing in creating a safe city.
Open spaces, when people see what is happening around them, create the safest environment possible.

The pandemic will create trends for the city, allowing for a healthy lifestyle and outdoor sports.

Mikhail Blinkin, Scientific Director of the HSE Faculty of Urban and Regional Development:

The width of sidewalks directly affects safety.
As long as the city lives and there is a need for movement, public transport will always be in demand.
Remote work and cycling reduce the flow of passengers by only 13%.

Nikolay Smirnyagin, General Director of CJSC Academic Management Company:

The basis of public safety is the involvement of residents.
The principle of "social control" works in the district.
The video system monitors entrances and exits, entrances to houses, and underground parking.

Vera Belous, Executive Director of the Builders Association Ural, head of the 100+ working group:

Since the first days of the pandemic, the Ural Builders Association, together with the regional Ministry of Construction, has been actively working to support the sustainability of the construction industry.
Based on the Builders Association A hotline of the Ministry of Construction of the Sverdlovsk region for construction workers has been created and is still operating in the Urals.

A number of measures proposed by the Association to support the industry as part of the work of the Regional Headquarters have been implemented at the federal level.
