In the shortlist of the nomination "The best engineering solution. The industrial facility" included three companies.

 

The WOLF company has nominated the PUSHCHINO laboratory animal nursery in the Moscow Region for the award. Specialists have developed ventilation solutions for the nursery. The complexity of this project was the uniqueness of the nursery's equipment and the special requirements of maintaining a microclimate. Installations were required to maintain a certain level of humidity and overpressure. These were supposed to be super-precise installations, operating strictly according to preset modes. WOLF climate control equipment, which meets all the requirements of the nursery, was delivered to the facility in 2020. A special feature of the facility was also the fact that during construction there were no conditions for renovation and all installations had to be brought to the ground floor of the building through an ordinary door, previously disassembled into parts.

 

OOO "Inform Institute" presented a complex for the production, processing, and packaging of grain and cereals "Uvelka". The project is aimed at expanding the existing production facilities. The main task of the design was to combine warehouse buildings, production workshops, an elevator site with raw material reception points, railway tracks, an administrative complex, parking lots and all other infrastructure facilities.

 

UMMC has nominated the third stage of Vostochny Port JSC, Russia's largest specialized terminal with high–tech coal transshipment from various Russian producers. The project has implemented the construction of four warehouses with a total capacity of 800 thousand tons and two berths, as well as equipping the complex with high-tech equipment, and creating an artificial land plot protruding into the bay. The third stage of the port is equipped with the most productive modern equipment, which is supplied from Japan − two tandem dump trucks for innovative high-capacity wagons, which allow unloading four 70-ton wagons with coal in just 3 minutes, two stackers and four reclaimers with a capacity of 3,500 thousand tons per hour.

 

The winners of the award will be announced during the 100+ TechnoBuild Forum and exhibition on October 5-7, 2021.
