Shcherbinsky Elevator Building Plant

Shcherbinsky Elevator Plant is the largest domestic manufacturer of elevator equipment, founded in 1943.

Since 2019, Shcherbinsky Elevator Plant has been part of the DOM group of companies. The Russian Federation, with the support of which the company launched the process of modernization and renewal of production. The share of SchLZ in the elevator equipment market in Russia is consistently at 20%. Over the years, the plant has produced more than 250,000 elevators, which have been installed at residential, industrial, medical and special construction sites not only in the Russian Federation, but also in the EAEU countries.

Today, the plant implements a strategy for engineering vertical solutions: it produces modern passenger elevators with increased comfort, freight elevators for industrial and commercial facilities, warehouse lifts for logistics hubs, as well as specialized lifting mechanisms for construction and green energy facilities.

The company's development strategy focuses on the re-equipment and modernization of the production complex, as well as the improvement of engineering competencies and technical expertise. To date, the plant has replaced a significant part of the machine tool fleet and installed 4 new automated production lines, which together has increased the nominal production capacity to 15,000 elevators per year.

The plant is actively conducting research and development activities. So, in the summer of 2024, SchLZ received a certificate for the production of equipment with a speed of 4 m/s, and in 2025 it completed tests of elevators with a speed of 8 m/s. At the end of 2024, the company released an experimental batch of gearless winches of its own production. The new control station, developed in 2025 by SCHLZ engineers, is designed for high—speed elevator equipment - the station has increased efficiency, and also provides group operation of up to 8 elevators.
