""Association of Self—regulating Organizations All-Russian non-governmental non-profit organization - All-Russian intersectoral Association of Employers "National Association of Self-regulating Organizations Based on Membership of Persons performing Engineering Surveys and Self-regulating Organizations Based on Membership of Persons Preparing Project Documentation" was formed in connection with the adoption of Federal Law No. 320 "On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of the Russian Federation" ""by reorganizing in the form of a merger of the All-Russian Non-governmental Non-profit Organization "National Association of Self-Regulatory Organizations Based on Membership of Persons Preparing project Documentation" (National Association of Designers, NOP) and the All-Russian Non-governmental Non-profit Organization "National Association of Self-Regulatory Organizations based on Membership of Persons performing Engineering Surveys" (National Association of Prospectors, NOIZ).

The abbreviated name is the National Association of Prospectors and Designers (NOPRIZ).

The decision to establish NOPRIZ was made at the Founding All-Russian Congress of Self-Regulatory Organizations Based on the Membership of Persons Performing Engineering Surveys and Self-regulatory Organizations based on the Membership of Persons Preparing project Documentation, held in Moscow on November 25, 2014, under the chairmanship of Deputy Minister of Construction and Housing and Communal Services of the Russian Federation Yuri Railyan.

On XI At the All-Russian Congress of NOPRIZ, Anvar Shamukhamedovich Shamuzafarov was elected president of the National Association of Prospectors and Designers for a four-year term.

An entry on the state registration of a legal entity was entered into the Unified State Register of Legal Entities on March 30, 2015. The decision on the state registration of the non-profit organization was made on March 19, 2015 by the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation in Moscow.

As of 08/20/2026 The NOPRIZ includes 179 design SROs and 51 SROs performing engineering surveys.

The supreme governing body of the National Association is the All-Russian Congress. The sole executive body of the Association is the President.
